Caine’s Arcade!

Dual clutch explained

Meanwhile in robotics class…

It is often said, “you can judge a man by his toolbox.”

The box I had in high-school was complete yet pretty unorganized. Sure each drawer had a label and only tools of that type went in there, but often I’d waste time looking through piles of tools only to discover I’ve misplaced it (or a specific size) somewhere.

Now that I’m about to graduate college, it’s time to make some changes to the box!

I took yoga mats and cut out shapes for tools to fit. Each drawer is a separate tool type and since my car(s) and my motorcycle are Asian, I only keep metric sizes. If I ever need standard tools, I’d just look in my spare box. More specifically, the vehicles I own are Japanese so I only keep Japanese sizes (as opposed to euro-metric or american-metric). Less is more for the main box. The spares are all in the spare toolbox still semi-organized.

Using this insert method, I’ll be able to tell when a tool is missing. My OCD will also kick in when a tool is missing so that I’ll go look for it and put it back.

Where have I been? I’ve been working on fixing up this 98 GSX-R SRAD 600 :)

About:

This is the life of Wendel - A Mechanical Engineer who happens to be an art and music lover :)

Living in Florida, you can find me taking photos, working on my car, going out to eat, hanging out with friends, and probably studying at The University of North Florida - or trying to at least.

Here you'll find my personal ramblings coupled with photos and video in a laid-back, personal format. Comment if necessary, and ask me anything on the right under "Ask Del"

Thank you for visiting my blog and I promise I'll try my best to keep posting and sharing on tumblr until I find another place to post and share.

It started out as a New-Year's resolution: to take more photos, explore more places, and meet new people. What good is all that if I don't have a means to share those adventures with my beloved friends and family? This is my outlet.
